So, do you decorate your house for various holidays? Like Valentines? St. Patty's Day? Easter? I told my hubby I needed some V-day decorations and looked at me like I had spouted two heads. :) But, I still decided to do something, so I headed to Hobby Lobby after seeing something that I liked online.
I grabbed some wooden letters, some cute scrapbooking paper (that happened to be 6 sheets for 59 cents!) and took it home. I traced the letters onto the paper, cut it out, and then modge-podged the paper onto the letters. I absolutely love it, and think it turned out so cute. And, it was super easy, too!

Connor has really taken off the past couple of weeks. He's been cruising for a while, and actually could stand and figured out how to pivot himself around in a circle, but he didn't really want to walk. But, finally, he got up the nerve to let go of whatever he was holding onto, and step three steps to grab something else. I think having Dallin and Spencer here (two of my nephews) for a week and a half really helped give him the confidence to just let go and . . . well, go! He's a pro now and loves being able to walk around by himself!
And, he LOVES balls! Loves them. Especially small-ish ones that can fit in his hand and that he can throw. If he sees a ball, he'll go get it, pull me over to sit down across from him and throw it to me. If I lay down, or do something he doesn't want, he'll grab my hand and grunt and pull to get me to do what he wants. And, most of the time, he wants me to play catch with him.
Pay attention to how he holds the ball when he throws it. It's really interesting, but he's really quite accurate as to where he wants to throw it. Occasionally he'll get really excited and throw it way off, but most of the time, he's right on.
By the time he finally quit playing, we'd been throwing the ball back and forth for about 25 minutes! :) And, he only quit because he saw Sly walk by and he went after him.
