So, yesterday marks the one-year anniversary of the signing of the papers to buy our house. Except, I didn't get to sign anything. Since I don't make any money, I was not put on the papers as a purchaser. So, Brandon did all the signing. I was so excited about it - and then got there and just watched. *sigh*
But, we've been here almost a year, and it's been wonderful! We've made some updates - the most recent of which was painting Scott & B's room - and we plan to do more in the years to come!
The boys rooms turned out SO pretty! They chose a really pretty blue - I love it! Pictures will be forthcoming - I've been painting all week long, and am just now getting around to putting their room back together. Hopefully I'll take some pictures tonight. For now, I'm exhausted, so I'm gonna go grab a nap!

Oh no! I just assumed I would be signing on our next new house too...hmmm...I'd better find out so I'm not too suprised when I get there. Can't wait for pictures of the rooms! I love Val, but I would rather go your way, so we definitely would have to talk them into going North too. Sadly, we'll still be in the 'big' city, blah, I miss the country! Miss you too!
I am so excited to see the bedrooms We soon will be taking on the painting projects as well. We are getting tired of our whole house being the same color. I was surprised to hear that you couldn't sign on the house. I did and I don't make any money either. Oh well. How exciting for owning a house for a whole year and many more to come!
Buying a house is no joke, sometimes I wonder if we were ready! We have a lawn to mow now!
